Hyaluronic Acid – The revered humectant of all humectants. One gram (0.03 ounce) of hyaluronic acid can hold up to 6 liters of water. Hyaluronic acid is probably one of the best ingredients you find in your skin products and because its naturally occurring in the body, it’s pretty much safe for any type of skin
Glycerin – Also a very moisturizing humectant. Said to soften skin and create a protective barrier to shield the skin from harsh environmental stresses. Attracts moisture from the air so it’s suggested to use a steamer to help get the pull effects.
Honey – Honey contains superior antibacterial and healing properties. It’s super nourishing and hydrating while still being wonderfully natural. If you have any skin care complaints varying from eczema to acne, honey can help remedy them.
‘No Makeup Goals‘ is a new kind of post that I’m trying where I pick 3 skincare ingredients, search them up and give a quick summary of my finding. They’ll be part of ‘Begginers Guide To Skincare‘ and can be found on that page.
